Project: Combating Corruption through women’s empowerment and Development

Objective: To engage women in anti corruption movement through women’s empowerment and development programs.
To activate Social Reform Act 2033
Output: Six Corruption Reduction Women Pressure Group (CRWPG)formed in six districts
Ninety women from were provided capacity-building training
One national level consultative meeting held in regard of ‘Social Reform Act 2033’
Ten local and one national level sensitization programs conducted to raise voice against corruption
Project: Mainstreaming Women in Mitigation of corruption

Objective: To mobilize women’s pressure groups in the mitigation of corruption.
To build the capacity of Women’s Lawyers Group
Media sensitization on a social campaign against corruption
Output: Six Women pressure groups were mobilized at the community level to sensitize the impact of corruption at the household and community levels.
Seventeen women lawyers were capacitated to deal with corruption issues
Six street dramas were conducted to sensitize the general public
Three quarterly magazines with good governance and anti-corruption issues were published
One jingle with an anti-corruption slogan was produced and aired through a radio program

Project Research on Women and Tourism-Related Micro Enterprises

Objective: To find out how women are contributing to Tourism related micro- enterprises.
Output: Thirty women who are running micro-enterprises around touristic places ( Durbar Squares) were interviewed

Project: Economic Empowerment

Objective To provide skill training – driving and handicraft
Initiate saving and credit program
Seed grant to establish micro-enterprise
Output: 30 women trained as professional drivers
100 women were equipped with handicraft training such as candle making, pottery, Corn husk dolls

10 women’s groups formed and a saving and credit program started.

Project Securing Sustainable Livelihood through Skill Training , Income Generation and Healthy living

Overall goal: To enhance the sustainable livelihood of selected communities in the Dhanusa district through skill training, income generation, and healthy living.
Objective: To provide skills to locals through Vocational Skill Development Training (SDT) for increased economic potential.
To increase household income through agro-based farming and livestock.
To promote equal opportunities for men and women, by promoting the participation of women in Income Generation Activities.
To improve Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) of urban poor and protect them from poor health condition.
Project: School Sanitation Project

Year: 2019-2020
Objective: To protect school children from poor health condition by improveing Water Sanitation and Hygiene of school .
Outcome: Swati conducted School Sanitation Project targeting schools at Dhanusha district to improve Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) of school children. The project was able to protect school children from poor health condition by using clean toilet , hand washing and safe drinking water. To begin with Swati started the project activity in Shree Nimna Madhyamik Vidyalaya in Manshinghpatti, Dhanusha Ward no 17 in collaboration of Global IME Bank . Swati constructed separate toilet for girls with adequate water facilities. It also and constructed tube well with water filter processer.
